It is quite annoying. Global messages should only be used to actually broadcast something useful, instead of spreading hate or whatever. I’m surprised they are still going right now.

Most homo/trans/etc-phobes are people who grew up with crappy parents, a bad household, strict religious rules, or a country that outlaws LGBTQ so they gotta hurt others to make themselves feel good.
Almost all of them are just uneducated, don’t even know what they’re talking about. To say LGBTQ is a “sickness” is literally the same as saying drinking too much water will turn you into a fish.
Pixel Worlds has a lot of children and teenagers, which are the prime age of using insults and rebelling against what other people like just so they can feel superior, trust me, everyone’s got that phase.

I also believe hateful/offensive global messages should be punished. However, harsh restrictions are going to affect everybody else as well.
In my opinion, “gm wars” have become a part of Pixel Worlds’ culture. Stuff like people writing the lyrics to some song, making jokes or having a fun conversation for everybody to see is something I personally like a lot, even if I don’t participate too often.

I don’t really mind the small “wars” but most of the time sexuality and race and stuff that like are brought into the fight and then it becomes kinda weird.

I’ll give my stance on this:
- People like fighting with each other. It’s part of our human nature.
- You see, being an LGBTQ+ or something is pretty controversial in the Pixel Worlds community. Since this community is made up of mostly little kids, parents often tend to tell their children that being homo is bad (or religion doesn’t allow them to), and when they encounter an LGBTQ+ in game, they don’t know how to react, so they resort to flaming. This is all just my speculation, though.
- Bluvox has a pretty good explanation for all the LGBTQ+ hate in the community. Bad parents, religion, or the country itself banning homo.
- Gargoyle has said that GM wars are a part of PW culture, and s/he’s not wrong! Even before the pride hat saga I already saw multiple people arguing over the global message board. Sometimes I like to think of the GM board as a Discord chatroom where you have to spend 2,500 gems every time you wanna send something.

Your not partically a bad parent for not supporting it but if they were to tell their kids to spread hate on the gay community then it would be bad parenting

Yeah, I also agree with this. There should be a cooldown for global messages, in order to prevent these type of cases, and some possible spam messages.

Those people are not even qualified to have an actual intelligent conversation. All they are capable of is be one of those loud voices in the crowd that can be shut down by challenging them on their arguments. That is were the last resort of slandering comes into play.
