Is there ever anything other than world locks in the byte shop?
Also where else can I spend my bytes?
Well there used to be quite alot of stuff there but nowadays not so much since it was messing with the economy abit too much.
You can also trade with others with the bytes, as byte coins are the main currency of the game.

Do you know how bytes hold there value, if you can only buy world locks with them, which are unreadable 
Well there are other things that take bytes from the game too, like pwe tax and secret base
