Deliberately messing with the economy is a bad idea

It seems that every time you guys add something to try fix the economy it just messes it up more

Its literally impossible to control the price of bytes, if you can get bytes out of thin air, then your not going to be able to stop inflation.

If ya wanna fix the byte price then you have to limit the amount of bytes there are in the game, making a currency drain like the BCS was a good idea until more and more expensive items came in and players bought them all up.

In the end, please just don’t mess with a player based economy, adding currency drains were good ideas until you guys decided to add highly desireable, highly priced items to drain the economy.

Hopefully you guys don’t try to stop with deflation by adding a byte printing machine.

Or add a dungeon where you can get bytes pures instead of gettting gems…

Well if they did i hope they make it like Sb

Their excuse for not adding it is 100% going to be “But you can buy BC for gems already!”

Yeah, but the conversion rate is a total scam.

Well nobody really does that.

Sadly, PW is entering that same stage that Growtopia did where a lot of bad decisions and lousy updates are made. The best years of PW have already passed and the future looks pretty dim.

I think that’s way too negative an outlook to have over the economy being in a poor state. There is much more to the game than the economy, and nothing else was a bad decision by any means. The future is uncertain, and it could very well be as great as ever. It’s way too early to think the best years have already passed.

I already took care of that, thanks for using the report feature everyone. Keep that up when needed.

The last good update we had was 2 years ago and mining was literally a suggestion we spoonfed to the dev team.

The economy happens to be the core of the game, mess it up and it starts a domino effect.

There have been a lot of bad decisions made by devs, some include adding things and others include not adding things to the game.

Judging by other similar games to PW, the fourth/ fifth years is when the lemon has been squeezed of its juice and you’re trying to figure out how to eat the skin.

Without a good economy, you can’t use most features without a good number of bytes. Cards, for example, you need to buy gems or use 400 bytes for a small card pack. People with 800-2000 bytes that spend all of their bytes on cards still won’t be able to use cards, unless you go against others. Fishing is really hard to get good profit without good gear, so of course you need bytes for that. World making (specifically WotW) would cost a good amount of bytes. Set making for the Best Set would usually cost a lot too. See? Most features require a good number of bytes to be good at, and maybe even gatekept if you can’t afford the features.

waiting for the rate to change to 16/1 byte

Let’s see:

  • Jetraces: Total failure. Literally nobody plays these anymore.
  • Pets: Most pets are sick, hungry, and would die if they could. Pet adventures are only worthwhile if a pet is lvl 10, and that takes a lot of time to actually obtain.
  • Cards: Like Jetraces - who plays cards?
  • Best set: Like check mii out channel (I’m sorry for bringing it up again but I had to mention it), it is kinda wasting gems to upload your set.
  • BC store: Great job on ruining the economy!

Id say its a quit realistic lookout right now.

It hasn’t gotten easier to get items or byte at all, the game isn’t alot more beginner friendly than it already was. A byte has become worth more, but getting bytes is harder now.
Just look at the mgem/fgem price, it has went from 2.5/250 to 3-3.5/250. The implementation of the byte coin store was a horrible decision by the devs and didn’t fix anything.

Mfw when a bunch of 13 year olds come up with better ideas than a “professional” dev team

Haven’t seen this outlook before but you are absolutely right, all the features they’ve implemented in the last two years relies on byte coins or gems to use, and now they’re trying to drain byte
