First ever Message in a Bottle in Pixel Worlds

I own the first ever Message in a Bottle in Pixel Worlds.
It was sent by Dev on the 30th January 2019, 6 days before the update containing them was released.
Here is what it looks like both in inventory and when read:

I am sharing this, because I think it’s quite a unique and interesting item and may be as interesting to some of you as it is to me.
The Bottle is not for sale, but can be seen in my world GARGO.

That’s some sweet trivia! Nice find. Did you buy it, or fish it up yourself?

I have bought it some time ago

That’s awesome dude!

Interesting, I wonder if there are any more pre-update bottles that people have found.

That’s quite the cool item!

If there was a museum of Pixel Worlds history, this should be an item to display for sure.

I thought of building something like this in the world “museums” but I don’t think I ever fleshed it out. It would be cool for this type of thing to exist in PW.

Probably not exactly what you were thinking of, but my friend Cawy owns many Rare/Glitched Items and has them on display at LE (Mostly stuff like rare Seeds such as Da Hood Sign Seed etc.).

I feel like a museum of history/oddities would be a community effort, but we’d need someone super trustworthy to manage items to put on display

Or someone makes a sort of hub world which has Portals leading to the worlds the items are in, that way nobody needs to lend his item to anybody.

That is actually a pretty great idea.

I’ll bet someone like quqqo or blackwight as they are mods and it’s kind of their job to be trustworthy. If not them, just general veteran players probably.

Maybe someone could make an info world of sorts with secluded rooms for each old and glitched item and that’s where the portal links would lie for each individual item. I definitely agree that having each owner link their item to the museum from their own world is much safer.

Impressive, that’s for sure an item you would like to keep for a collection.

It’s all fun and games until someone removes their item from the linked world, and just links the world into an infinite portal instead. I shouldn’t give anyone ideas…

Uh oh …
I guess you just have to count on the maturity of the item owners.

Yeah. It wouldn’t be difficult for them to unlink the world if someone abused it.
