Pretty sure that’s hacking. The limit size of a Basic Bamboo Rod is Medium sized fish.

but before everything, did you really checked and vertified the rod of the player used?
mabye that player is using an alt to fish or so. if not and is really using the original bamboo rod (basic) then its a hack. hopefully you reported the person.
how many lbs did the person actually got?

Is the account a subject or has its own name[dont tell his name here]? what is the level? did u report?
we cant just suspect someone for hacking, mabye his rod is flawless or superior. did you check off the colors of the rod? bamboo rod with blue spots is flawless and golden as superior.
even with superior i think huge is impossible
we wont know how big the lbs is and what the ‘‘hacker’’ rod used because there is no screenshot given. thus we dont know if its a hacker or just some pro fisher.
From what I’ve heard from other players. There is some new fishing hack that botters used to get so many fish that the gem price inflated as much as 3000/wl

Thats not hacking. Its just a glitch. Even i can do that in front of a mod and i wont get banned because its not affecting the game. Also this is possible, although it is very small chance. They could have gotten lucky and got the fish, or you might be mistaken to find out that he was using bamboo sup, as the colours are kinda similar, maybe u just took like a quick look and go “oh my gosh he catch huge” and not pay attention at all to the rod he was using.

That makes sense now, that how these hackers spam GM with those gems.
Its very unlikely. I may just be wrong. One of my friends claimed they had done this.
