First, if you made a PW short movie or anything like that (old ones won’t be considered), that is part of the featured videos at the PW social tab, it can be a submission for the “Pixel Worlds Box Office”.
Okay so let me explain what the box office is very quickly:
The box office is used to measure the success of a movie by how much money it earned, how much money it earned at opening weekend, etc.
Okay back to the topic, the devs will handpick some great PW movies of the highest quality made by the community for the box office. The success of the movie will be measured by the amount of views, and likes it got. Every 500 likes or 1k views will give 50 Movie Points in-game for you to convert into byte coins. (The name of the person who made the movie must be specified at the description for them to get the points, and it is up to that person to divide it to the people if it is more than 1 person)
OKAY WAIT BEFORE YOU COMPLAIN THAT IS AN EASY PROFIT METHOD.
50 Movie Points will be= 1,000 bytes (500 if you think 1k is too much)
This whole thing won’t be meant as a competition for movie makers to make the most bytes or to reach no.1, but rather just something extra when you make a movie or if you just want to make some profit.
Also a list of the movies will be visible at the menu in game which will look similar to the real Box Office list
