So this one guy i’m good friends with gave me a ton of bytes, but i’m not sure did they gain them legimately. Can i get banned if they give them to me?

Yes. Yes you can get banned if they were duped.
Just better not to take bytes from them.

For safe measure, message support at the time they were given to you, and that can be your safety net.

Thanks but they’re literally one of my best friends so i don’t have a fear that i’ll get banned.

Is there a way to know if your bytes are ones that have been duped?

if you got them entirely for free then there is a slight chance you might get banned if they are illegally obtained
