gifs could be used even as a pfp? im most likely wrong about pfp being a gif but whatever hovering over profiles it’s a easy way to stalk people to see their stats as i know some nerds will do that

I tried to use a gif as a profile picture, didn’t work for me. You can use .gif for banners though.
