What monster in the mines do you hate the most?

I absolutely hate the maggot, since they are the hardest to catch, they come at any random time, they give you a lot of damage if they hit you.

Obviously Gassy, it comes out of nowhere and can deal 2 hits of damage AND slow you down

If my connection is stable, then the maggots would most likely be the most annoying, since it tries to keep dodging away from you (like how most ranged enemies are supposed to).

During LAG however, Gassies become a literal heat seeking missile. They appear out of nowhere, with no warning, and explode instantly right in front of you. Basically, the warning sound and kamikaze happens at the same time.

I haven’t had too much of a problem with Gassy. Gassys are easy to dodge, at least on PC. On mobile though, they are a pain.

either the green one or the one who shoots at you, it’s super annoying when i’m searching for the exit while having really low health and it spawns inside me and kills me

The green thing spawning inside me and lava are the two reasons I die.

The gassy itself are not a threat, but knowing that you can get ganked when you are poisoned is the thing that makes the gassy a threat. Imagine having to face 2 rocky horrors 3 bats and 2 swarming maggots whilst getting poisoned. It would be hard for you to dodge the rocky horror’s attacks. Not to mention that bats prevent you from jumping :v

Also, Lava has always been an annoying threat in PvE. 5 Hits and u ded.

Gassy is awesome, but the most funny / annoying one.

Not a monster, but I’ve died more to lava than any other enemy.

I hate it when there is that time in the mine when like maggots keep constantly spawning it’s so annoying

For me,

Bats - Not a problem unless there’s a few of them sticking to each other.
Gassy - Listening to them spawning will help you dodge.
Maggots - Easy to kill, yet hurtful projectiles.
Rocky Horros - No idea how to escape it’s attacks? Just break the block under you.

Overall, having all of them in one place is not as easy to deal with, specially when you don’t have the Immovable perk making you get knockbacked everywhere.

So, what I hate the most? None, unless I’m lagging. :wink:

Bats - if u hate lag, bat somehow withstand a hit & ur hp drains
Gassy - if u hate lag, gassy pursuit you and instantly exploded you without realising it
Maggot - packed with swarms reminds me bullet hell
Rocky horror - u somehow fell into monster trap 3+ rocky horror, feels hurt alot

i hate almost all of them
rocky horror is not too bad
bats aren’t a huge issue at all
maggots are super annoying especially when the teleport right where you are standing
gassy another one that is easy to doge unless your in a area thats not opened up alot then its a nightmare to deal with

I think the one that annoys me the most would be the Gassy, especially when I find myself in close spaces.
Another mention are the Deep Maggots, although they are not as annoying as the Gassy.

I never been to the mines, it’s because i always trust nether farming instead of doing other farms
