For obvious reasons we need more forums moderators, I think they’d make a good moderator here.

Well, you see, I agree with fyn. Sometimes I see a gap in the availability of Pixel Worlds forum moderators. Oftentimes, I see people breaking the rules and only Freak came to help after so many hours. Since June 2021, I always want to fill in that spot of availability for the forum staff team. However, I realized that I didn’t have the valuable experience and knowledge to make me a great moderator. So, I joined around 6 small-medium Discord servers, applied for staff positions for all of them, and got accepted to become a trial moderator in 5 servers, recently I was nominated as the most trusted staff member in 2 servers (one in small and one in medium).

I have been passionate about moderating since 3 months ago. I love helping people with their problems and providing solutions for their problems. I feel grateful when I see that others have become a better version of themselves. Therefore even though I don’t get paid by being a moderator, I still love doing it and I believe the education that I get by moderating is more than enough.

Moderators are visible public figures, every eye looks at what they do. That means moderators can get the blame when they do something wrong. But, I believe I can overcome any challenges and be the best public service I can be. I believe that even though I have to deal with difficult situations as a moderator, I can maintain my professionalism and make the best decision for everyone.

By the way, If I ever become a trusted public service for Pixel Worlds forum (AKA moderator), I would make a suggestion form like this for every people to suggest and give feedback on how well I do my job.

Personally, I think that I should be complimented if I do a good job, and I should be insulted or provoked if I do such a bad job. I shouldn’t run from the responsibility I was given to serve the community. This is what I often don’t see from moderators during my moderating career in the last 3 months. Unfortunately, many staff members still ban people for disagreeing with them. This might be/not be the case in Pixel Worlds but this happened in a lot of public Discord servers. This is one of the reasons that I am studying moderation more in “Discord Moderator Training Facility”, I want to be as professional as possible with how I moderate communities.

I am always prepared and motivated to become a moderator/community service for the Pixel Worlds forum, I have had the highest motivation since June 2021 to help you guys on this platform but sometimes I feel that I lack the power to do so. Again, thank you so much for supporting me, this thread was unexpected and you guys made me smile for a few hours. I couldn’t even study nor reply to this thread because of such positive emotion.

That was a little of my backstory and motivation. Now, I just want to suggest developers such as @jake, @dev, or @endless take a look into the moderation quality of the Pixel Worlds forum. There is only a person who moderates the whole platform: @freak , The others are pretty inactive. I believe that we should add more dedicated moderators for the Pixel Worlds forum. There are a lot of them here. Of course, I am not forcing or begging for this responsibility, as I know how hard it is to moderate, but I honestly am passionate about moderating Pixel Worlds forum and I believe that I am also dedicated to develop Pixel Worlds forum to be more active and organized. In short, I am prepared and I would really love to become a moderator for Pixel Worlds forum. I am very motivated to be a moderator for Pixel Worlds forum.

Well… i totally agree with you, he is one of the prefect candidate for it, he trained etc etc…

I’m also interested about becoming a moderator (in game and/ or in the forums)

I’m really active on the forums helping in game almost since the beginning (do reports when someone break the game rules) and since I’m active on the forums, i reported/ flagged people threads and posts that were breaking the rules.

The only thing I’m afraid about is that my english skills aren’t the best. I’ll honestly rate my English 7/10 and I’m trying my best, I’ll surely take lessons soon just to keep a good English.

(You can also rate my English honestly if you want so.)

Unfortunately i never prepared myself a lot for that, participate in debates, make a conclusion and tell who is wrong and what are the actions that are needed.

BUT

I’m ready to prepare myself for it and help people more than now by taking the required actions.

If ever after a while I don’t feel anymore to support the moderator role and / or not doing my job perfectly due to tiredness, trust me, I’ll step down right away instead of being a bad moderator and do bad decisions.
