Hello pw friends. I got some people from PW and from other Discord servers I moderated at, asking about my studies. If you’re new to PW forums and don’t know me well, I’m Dave known as Mindaw 17 years old from Indonesia. I used to be an active forumer here.
As most of you know, I was busy with the university entrance exam in Indonesia. Well, I failed SNMPTN (first path) and got bad score in SBMPTN tryouts despite studying hard for several months, so I chose not to pursue SBMPTN(second path) anymorw. I applied to a new university with better campus facilities, equally good in career prospects and education. Kind of like BITS which is equal to IIT in India.
I applied and got accepted with 50% building fee scholarship to the best private university in Indonesia, ranked #4 nationally in Computer Science and as the only university in my country to receive 5 stars fron QS World Ranking. Here it is, BINUS University (I applied for the centre branch, Kemanggisan branch.)
I can say that I do not regret my decision giving up on my previous dream, as I now have time for pursuing better dreams that have higher chance of success and can also improve my life in university.
I’m now in the university dormitory to take a tour around with my family.
After walking around, I’ve already loved being here and I hope that I can use the facilities to the fullest, make some new friends, and use the opportunity to improve myself (get big from gym, have better study habits, have better social status, etc.) because there is none who knows me from highschool there.
Maybe some of you like @Fazeus @RetNos know that I used to be a well-known Discord Moderator in some big, famous discord servers with total members from all of them more than 1,3 million members. I resigned from all of them for that university entrance exam. I’m not sure if I should contact the admins from those servers that I’m coming back to be an active mod again and serve the members of the community, as being a moderator is a responsibility. But I think I will in the future!
Will I continue playing PW or talk in Pw forum?
Yes, when I have break time to play after all my priorities + tired/bored.
