It seems most days a post appears about this and in the replies someone will state that the scammer will get banned but you won’t get your bytes/item back. Is this true?
What I need to understand is why the hell not?
The scammer partly wins here the Devs can basically give anyone anything and if they say not i don’t believe them! If it’s hard work then so what …? The person had the money or item anyway so it won’t hurt the game economy…
I’ve mentioned it before but what if someone say buys a 10 day VIP with real world money wins the daily bonus with it and loses it to a scammer? If they don’t get it back it’s theft…
The developers remove the items from the scammers.
Wind blows, rain falls and the strong prey upon the weak. It is as all things should be.
Strong are the strong minded. To design something to fool you.
There’s no going back.
I’d been scammed 2 bamboo superior rods when I was a newbie.
I, shed a tear. And that’s all. No other emotions toward anybody, not even myself.
Now that I have the riches to afford 20 superior bamboo rods, I do not feel that different from when I started. I can’t comprehend why.
A → B → C → B → A
It is just, no justice but the “just what we get told.”
The developers have been told this for over a 100 times now, I am very sure. Yet they hold it back for some reason, I’ve basically given up on pixel worlds, I’ve lost the motivation to play.
Well well, this post seems to be getting a little “large.”
Sorry but that’s a ridiculous way of looking at it.
So if some Nigerian telephone/banking scam robs someones Grandma of her life savings she should be more careful???
Some of the game scams are elaborate and prey on young kids - we have to look after our own baby sister - scammers are always trying to get her to worlds cos they want what she has on
I reckon it’s just awkward for the devs in some way … There is probably no system to generate something for someone and no one has time to do one …
The game is so riddled with holes which aren’t fixed. …
To me, these look like just some minor issues.
If it is a new type of scam then I heard the developers gave out their items back to them. But these types of scams are well known, and literally “Drop games are not allowed” is written head-on in the rules. It is their fault for not reading the rules. And other types of scams? Oh do not even get me started. The simplest form of non-dropgame secondary scams are trust games.
You drop something in their world for 15 seconds “then they give you a prize.” Use common sense dudes, this scam has been known since the start of time. And also “Never drop something in others worlds!” And you literally have to press a button confirming that you lose ownership of the item.
Many people say that but the devs actually never did it, the best they can do is ban the scammer a certain amount of time based on the gravity of the situation and that’s it.
