It reduces the damage, and yes street mask does reduce damage but not more than gas mask.

Street artist mask reduces resistance to poison (damage that it causes). A gas mask significantly reduces the poison time affecting you (poison lasts shorter).

Quqqo (Ghustie) made a youtube video about it and proved that they do reduce the poisoned time by a small percentage and the most effective one is Hazmat Helmet.

Yeah, I saw people running around with street artist masks and gas masks while me (poor) didn’t have anything and so I completely missed black tower (the whole event lmao.)
