Is having even good items safe anymore?

I used to have 3x Doge Cloaks, or 2 saved up when they’re price was about 80.000 to 100.000.
And after a year or so, when I logged on again, both were gone, but my pures, and valuable worlds are kept. I had like 760K on me, which is worth more than couple of doge cloaks. I’m really frustrated bc of that.

I even refrain from buying expensivee items from PWE because I fear they were duped

I mean, I have original Dark Sprite Wings, and I’m pretty scared of them being removed
