I do not want everyone to have ban powers. There’s other stuff in the panel which should have been just released to the public.
Which ones, for example?
“Ignore auto-portals” for example. Even Jake has said that he doesn’t know why that is exclusive to admins.
As @Kaluub said, there isn’t much stuff that should be available to regular players.
There could be some, but then you need to mention which ones exactly if you want the developers to look into it.
It would be best if you would make it into another topic with the category set to “game suggestions”, if this hasn’t yet been discussed somewhere on the forums.

For real though, there are these things called html tags, used in html.
The way you make these tags is
< (name of tag here) >
Without spaces in between.
Each tag is basically a thing in html.
You can make a textbox with one tag, a text with another, and then add an image with a third one.
Discourse doesn’t display these tags, instead it runs them like html would.
So if you write a tag, instead of the tag showing up like the way it was written, it just disappears.
You can write invalid tags (tags that don’t exist in html) too, and they will disappear.
So if you add a tag along with a short message, it will count the characters in the tag too, and allow you to send it, and the tag itself will disappear when shown as a message.
