.
Hello Everyone, I am Mindaw. I hope I can help to clear any confusion you have about fishing, and I hope by the end of my Fishing Guide, you can be a knowledgeable fisher.
.
I can guarantee that the information I gave you is community-approved. (many players agree with the information, not all).

There are 5 fishing rods in the game =

    .
    .
Each rod targets the different sizes of fish.

Bamboo rod targets tiny to small fish.

Fiberglass rod targets small to medium fish.
image

.
Carbon Fiber Rod targets medium to large fish.
image
.
Dark Carbon Fiber Rod targets medium to large fish.
image
.
Titanium Rod targets Large to Huge fish.

However, bamboo and fiber can still catch large and huge fish, also, Carbon fiber and titanium can still catch small and medium fish. (occasionally)

Fishing rods have 4 quality levels. These quality levels determine difficulty and convenience when fishing. There is 1 aspect that is impacted by quality: Handling, while Drag Strength improves as you move to bigger fishing rods (Bamboo >> Titanium)
.
.

  • Basic = The lowest quality

Bamboo rod: Poor drag strength and poor handling.
image

Fiberglass rod: Average drag strength and poor handling.
image

Carbon Fiber rod: Good drag strength and poor handling.
image

Titanium rod: Excellent drag strength and poor handling.
image

.
.

  • Fine = Average quality

Bamboo rod: Poor drag strength and average handling.
image

Fiberglass rod: Average drag strength and average handling.
image

Carbon Fiber rod: Good drag strength and average handling.
image

Titanium rod: Excellent drag strength and average handling.
image
.
.

  • Flawless = Improved quality

Bamboo rod: Poor drag strength and good handling.
image

Fiberglass rod: Average drag strength and good handling.
image

Carbon Fiber rod: Good drag strength and good handling.
image

Titanium rod: Excellent drag strength and good handling.
image
.
.

  • Superior = The best quality

Bamboo rod: Poor drag strength and excellent handling.
image

Fiberglass rod: Average drag strength and excellent handling.
image

Carbon Fiber rod: Good drag strength and excellent handling.
image

Titanium rod: Excellent drag strength and excellent handling.
image

There is no quality level for both Reinforced Bamboo Rod and Dark Carbon Fiber Rod.
Reinforced Bamboo Rod is the same as Bamboo Rod (Superior)
Dark Carbon Fiber Rod is the same as Carbon Fiber (Superior)
.
.
You can upgrade/level up your rod quality level by going to PIXELSTATION

Hey Mindaw, I’m using a carbon fiber superior rod right now, do you have any recommendations on what bait I should use?

For carbon fiber superior, I suggest fishing with Green Twirtail jigs or Purple Twirtail jigs. I think Green Twirtail Jigs is better.

Idk why people bother making these threads. At max there’s like 5 people who genuinely need this information.

I want to help others, those five people at least, and also future forumers.

This thread will just be buried after a few weeks. Also, it’s uh not hard to tell you’re just being a mini-mod. Kinda annoying tbh, but it’s nice to set unrealistic goals for yourself.

I don’t even know what minimod is until I talked with Ephus in Private Message.

I even changed the text format because He seemed annoyed by it. It’s just I often see the format when I visit other forums. I don’t know why helping others, being polite is considered being a minimod.

You should check the real definition of minimod in google.
