Chapter 1: New Beginnings
Okay… So… When I first played this game. You know. Having a good time. I just downloaded this game off of a YouTube advertisement. I’m still in high school. In fact, I’m still in class. I shouldn’t even be playing on my phone, but my teachers are cool so long as we’re doing or have finished our work.
So I’m playing. I’m in history class. Having a good time. It’s the Halloween event. So I want to enter the BLACKTOWER. I need souls or gems.
So I find the free gems advertisements. I hit that. Guess what. An R rated advertisement pops up on my iPhone screen just as my history teacher is coming to my desk to ask how I’m doing…
He glances at my screen…
And I just close my eyes and put my face over the screen…
I think to myself…
"Okay…
Chapter 2: Obstacles
Okay… So this is around winter 2017-2018.
So… Anyone remember L O C K W A R S?? Heck. That was the good stuff. I’ve also got some decent items too.
Okay… The basic rules of my version is that
- You compete for ownership the entrance portal
- You have your own cool looking bubbles
- You beg or compete for freedom
- You pay for rights (or not).
- You watch other trapped players suffering for your own satisfactions
- You’re a big show off who risks placing a lot of big locks with no portals. And if you disconnect because of bad wifi and/or a device, you get laughed at.
- You threaten scam reports for safe passage towards your trapped locks.
- If you have portals and/or checkpoints, you flex on everyone with dropped items.
- Hopefully the locks decay after years and you can get your forgotten locks/items back.
So recently. I just recently got the Frost Sword from the Winter Booster. Took me like… Around $30 (estimate off of memory and not my receipts) to get it with a bunch of other winter trash. I was going to sell it for 2 platinum locks. Guess what? People priced it at 1 platinum lock.
Guess how much it is now? Like… 25 world locks. $30 for 25 world locks. Kukouri loves to screw me. All because I thought it was a cool item that was only obtainable within that year and not in the future.
So I get the Frost Sword. First thing I do is… ~facepalm~… I go to a lock wars. I drop my Frost Sword inside my lock. Everyone in that world sees it… Heck. My sword isn’t even inside a wall. It’s only inside one block surrounded by open air on 3 sides (the bottom, top, and right side).
I don’t even own much. I S K I P P E D farming. If I lose this item, it’s going to crush my soul.
I’m on my iPhone, with a 99% crash rate. I have no way back to my lock if I disconnect. My lifespan decreases every time the no Wi-Fi icon pops up.
For an entire hour, I interally struggle on whether I should keep going or give up.
But… Through the random works of God… A kind player baited others into taking World Locks while I got my Frost Sword back. You a real G, forgotten player.
What have we learned? The lesson is… If you’re going to drop your items… You need to have a plan before taking the risk.
That was the first time I’ve seen a player actively tried to steal items in a game. In other games, it’s indirect… But this game, even though it’s an written rule… Has loopholes which allows in-game theft.
Chapter 3: How did we get here?
It’s 2018.
I lost all my items…

Wonderful.
So… Most of you already know that I despise scammers… Even more so if they’re using third party cheat software.
I sold my Frost Sword.
I won the Pink Umbrella. My first VIP item.
I’m in a trade world.
Basically… Some players want me to go to a new world.
I figure… Okay… I’m going to this new world, I’m going to lock it, drop my items in a safe location, and trade the world.
This is difficult and emotional for me type…
I wish i could forget…
In short…
- noclip, items stolen
- laughed at, self esteem crushed
- rage on old forums
- told it was my fault
- forum temp banned, hope lost
- giveaway rest of my items
- quit #1
Absolutely wonderful.
The thing that hurt the most for me wasn’t my items getting stolen… Not being laughed at. Not getting temp banned. It was that no one helped me.
Whoever it was that told me it was my fault and argued me into oblivion… I retract my apology. Screw you. I was acting in the most humane way possible. Anger and frustration.
Chapter 4: Intermission
It’s winter 2018-2019.
Life goes on.
I don’t have the motivation to play this game.
I come back, incognito, for 20 minutes or so every other day or week.
Things happen.

I play lock wars and do some giveaways. Other than that… Nothing much is going on.
Chapter 5: Cognition
Oh… That reminds me… Remember when FIN Pennant’s were a thing? It was around that time that I got the Nether Blade from a quest.
I don’t even know about the FIN Pennants yet. Someone tries to sell me a seed. Calls it a “glitch” seed. That… Perks me up. That kind of word, “glitch”, is my eye candy.
The player raves about the seed and brings up Jake a lot. They make it sound rare, and how it drops rare stuff.
I’m excited. The first thing I say is “Do you want a Nether Blade for it?”
Not even 10 minutes later… That I discover…
EVERYONE HAS THE HECKIN’ SEEDS.
I just traded something decent… For trash.
Ahh… The good old days.
Chapter 6: Condition
It’s 2020. Everyone becomes a cave troll.
I make a decision, and I return to the game for a while.
Have a decent time. Everything is repetitive.
Wow wow I got the new Rift Fragments? I must the luckiest player alive!
Things are going good. I profit.
I host some giveaways.
Troll some players.
Share some good laughs.
I take another break again.

Chapter 7: Not a real chapter / The Final Chapter: Hopeless
I’m currently sleep deprived at the moment of typing this chapter. Been putting off finishing this rant for about a week or so now.

Clout, fame, achievement, and profit is the only storyline and end goal to this game.
Those 4 are all illusions
Friends in this game are a lie.
The friends you make will always be strangers, and are depressing.
No one can be trusted.
Socially engineering at its finest.
If you have real life friends that you want to invite into this game… Stop. Don’t start trying to sabotage their life with this game. If you invite them, I’ll never forgive you. Invite them to play some console, mobile, or PC games… Not this embarassment.
Don’t play this game… If you do, you have no soul.
It’s rewarding, but not fulfilling. It brings no meaning nor happiness to my life. It only incites greed and sloth in oneself. Play a fulfilling game. Please. For me.
